Late Friday evening, a physical dispute between patrons and staff of the bar escalated to gunfire, which left one man with a gunshot wound. According to CBS17, the injured were discovered by officers when they responded to a call just before 8:30 p.m. at the establishment located at 1407 North Wall Street.

The gunshot victim was promptly transmitted to WakeMed to address his injuries, while at the scene, the two other victims received treatment, as noted by officials. Despite the chaotic scene, Benson police have ruled out the event as part of a broader problem, identifying the shooting as an isolated incident. As of Saturday morning there had been no charges filed, as reported by WRAL.
