From August 16 to September 4, officers dedicated more than 28 hours to DUII patrols resulting in a total of 54 actions which included "3 arrests for DUII" and "13 tickets for speeding, driving while suspended, distracted driving, no operators license, no insurance," according to a report released by the Tigard Police Department. There were also "38 warnings for driving without lights, failure to obey a traffic control device, no insurance, failure to drive within the lane and illegal u-turn" issued to drivers.

Additionally, focused speed patrols conducted during August had officers working 9 hours, taking 33 total actions, including "1 arrest for failure to return a suspended license" as laid out by the Tigard Police Department. The actions comprised "12 tickets for speeding, no seat belt, distracted driving, equipment issues, no insurance, failure to display license plate, failure to register vehicle" and "20 warnings for speeding, equipment issues, distracted driving, failure to renew registration, failure to obey a traffic control device and others."

Ensuring the proper use of seat belts and car seats was another area officers were instructed to closely monitor. In this enforcement action, officers worked 20 hours and took 87 actions, including "26 citations for speeding, driving while suspended, seat belt use, distracted driving, equipment issues, failure to obey a traffic control device, no insurance, no license and others" per the official documentation. This operation also resulted in "61 warnings for speeding, equipment, failure to carry proof of insurance, no license and others." The success of these interventions underlines the collaborative efforts of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in partnership with the Oregon Department of Transportation and Oregon Impact to proactively reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities.
