Residents and stakeholders in Washington County have a chance to shape the future of County Highway 16, better known as Valley Creek Road, as the local authorities are inviting public input on a corridor study. This initiative, a collaboration between Washington County and the City of Woodbury, is geared towards evaluating the current and future necessities of the thoroughfare stretching from Interlachen Parkway to State Highway 95 (Manning Avenue). An open house has been scheduled on October 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for the community to engage directly with the project team, offer their insights on potential design alternatives, and familiarize themselves with the upcoming phases of the study, this session will take place at Woodbury City Hall in the Council Chambers located at 8301 Valley Creek Rd, Woodbury, MN, as confirmed by Washington County.
For those unable to attend in person, there has been an online engagement option set up, where interested parties can review the materials presented at the in-person open house.
