
Violence broke out in a Durham neighborhood over the weekend, leading to one death and multiple injuries. The shootings happened less than a day apart, according to local law enforcement reports.
The first incident took place Saturday evening shortly before 9:15 p.m. near Glenbrook Drive and Dubonnet Place, where three individuals sustained gunshot injuries; CBS 17 reports that one of the victims faced life-threatening wounds while the others are expected to recover, Durham Police Department stated in a news release, the second, fatal incident unfolded the following day. when law enforcement responded to the same location
Sunday's shooting, which occurred around 6 p.m., also in the vicinity of Glenbrook Drive and Dubonnet Place, resulted in an unidentified man being found with serious gunshot-related injuries; he was promptly transferred to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds, WRAL reported.
