A peculiar bank robbery has caught the attention of law enforcement in West Bloomfield Township. Police are actively searching for a suspect who carried out his crime in a distinctive disguise. According to CBS News Detroit, the individual, donning an "old man" Halloween mask, augmented his eerie disguise with a black umbrella punctuated with yellow smiley face polka dots, a tableau of the bizarre.
At approximately 10:38 a.m. on Friday, authorities were alerted to the heist at the Fifth Third Bank on Haggerty Road, as reported by a 911 call with the suspect described as a roughly 6-foot-tall male clad in a light gray hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, and striking white sneakers that boasted neon stripes, ostensibly a tapestry of the normal and the theatrical, the monochrome of his attire starkly contrasted with the polka of his parasol, as reported by ClickOnDetroit.
