After a notable decade-long absence, Air France is set to reinstate its presence in Orlando International Airport, announcing nonstop flights to Paris slated to begin on May 21, 2025. The route will operate four days a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—connecting flyers directly to the City of Lights in what seems like a resurrection of their once-popular service, which went dormant back in 2012.

According to Travel Land Leisure, the flights are to depart Orlando at the inky hour of 11 p.m. and kiss the sky until they touch down in Paris by 1:30 p.m. the following day. The return leg is set to leave Paris at 5:05 p.m. and conclude its journey in Orlando at 8:45 p.m. on the same calendar square. Using their Airbus A350-900 airplanes, Air France will offer a tri-class experience: a cozy 34 seats in business class, a comfortable 24 in premium economy, and a generous 266 in economy section.

This international handshake is a boon for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. CEO Kevin J. Thibault hails the move as a testament to Orlando International's commitment to global connectivity and value creation for the community. WFTV reported that Thibault expressed excitement over welcoming Air France back, which aligns with the city's draw as an international destination and reinforces its ties with one of Europe's cultural epicenters.

The service is not only a nod to the legacy of French-American linkages but stands as Air France's 18th destination in the States. Boaz Hulsman, Vice President of Commercial, North America at Air France-KLM, recounted the airline's dedication to fortifying these transatlantic connections, claiming in a statement shared with Travel Land Leisure that they anticipate “providing passengers from Florida a seamless, direct journey to Paris, or beyond, where they can enjoy the French elegance and award-winning service that Air France is known for.” Additionally, Orlando is a central hub for travelers and is well-connected with SkyTeam partners Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico. The upcoming flights are expected to streamline travel with access to over 170 additional destinations.
