Jefferson City is set to get an economic boost as Anderson-DuBose Company, a major distributor for fast-food giants like McDonald's, confirmed plans to open a new distribution facility in the area. This expansion marks the company's first venture into Tennessee and is anticipated to create 80 jobs. The venture represents a nearly $40 million investment aimed at bolstering the regional economy and supporting almost 450 restaurant locations, WVLT reported.

While heralding the arrival of Anderson-DuBose, Governor Bill Lee, present during the announcement, expressed his views on the potential impact of this move, claiming, "This investment will create greater opportunity for families across the region, and our state’s strong and dedicated workforce will ensure Anderson-DuBose success for years to come," as per a statement obtained by WVLT

Anderson-DuBose's expansion into Jefferson City is seen as a continuation of its significant growth since its inception in 1991. Anderson-DuBose President, Mike Boddy, underscored the significance of this new facility, stating, "We are thrilled to be expanding into Tennessee and building our state-of-the-art distribution center in Jefferson City. This investment will help us meet the cold and dry food service storage needs of our valued customers in the Southeast," according to an interview with WBIR.
