Consumers in Arizona who have fallen victim to unfulfilled orders from All Good Shutter and Blind, LLC can breathe a sigh of relief. After an investigation into the company’s practices, Attorney General Kris Mayes has struck a deal that promises refunds. "This settlement sends a clear message: we expect companies to deliver on their commitments to Arizona consumers," Mayes stated, emphasizing the accountability businesses owe to their patrons.
Initiated due to a flurry of complaints, the investigation revealed that since beginning its operations in 2016 up to its closure in December 2023, All Good Shutter and Blind had been collecting payments without providing the promised goods. The owners are now required to cough up $62,500 for the refunds, while also committing to comply with honest advertising and timely delivery in the future. Erring on the side of honest business tactics, the settlement further stipulates that they must not falsely represent the availability of any goods or services.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, affected consumers will be contacted about the refund process. Assistant Attorney General Suzanne Pendergast played a pivotal role in managing the case. She has ensured that the terms of the settlement strictly forbid the company's owners from misleading advertisements and promises regarding timely delivery that cannot be met.
