The blaze was reported at 6:08 p.m. and within five minutes, fire crews were battling the flames. The response, initially a first alarm was quickly ramped up to a second due to the condition of the rapidly spreading fire. Clark County Fire Department took the lead, with support from North Las Vegas and City of Las Vegas units, as detailed in both News3LV and 8NewsNow coverage.
The collective force included 71 personnel, featuring 10 engines, four trucks, four rescues, three battalion chiefs, one air resource, one EMS supervisor, and two fire investigators, as per 8NewsNow. Firefighters initially tackled the fire from the perimeter in a defensive strategy but soon took the fight inside for an overhaul operation and search of the home.
