Gerald R. Ford International Airport is expanding its dining options with the inclusion of a Bell's Brewery outpost, slated to open this winter inside the airport's Concourse B. Although the opening date is yet to be announced. The famed Michigan brewery will offer a select menu featuring renowned beers such as Oberon Ale and Two-Hearted IPA, along with a collection of smaller snacks and seasonal items, as reported by FOX 17.

According to a WZZM 13 report, the new Bell's location will join a roster of local food offerings, such as Firehouse Subs and the MI Tap Room and this isn't the first local eatery that has been featured at Ford Airport, back in July, Uccello's Ristorante opened a scaled-down version inside the terminal. Bell's Brewery's commitment to West Michigan's culture is evident through their partnership to establish a presence within the airport, hoping to introduce nearly 10,000 daily passengers to the local flavors the region prides itself on.

Tory Richardson, President and CEO of Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority, highlighted the airport's enthusiasm for featuring a local culinary icon, saying, "With an average of 10,000 passengers coming through our terminal daily—some of whom are first-time visitors to West Michigan—we are excited to showcase the vibrant local flavors of our region and hope all our travelers can enjoy the diverse options available to them," as told to FOX 17.

As the airport undergoes a substantial $600 million expansion endeavor, which includes new infrastructure developments like a consolidated car rental facility, a revamped terminal area, updated air traffic control tower, and additional parking—and with plans to also incorporate a federal inspection station to support direct international flights, Bell's Brewery forms part of the airport's strategy to enhance passenger experience, as detailed by WOOD TV.

Carrie Yunker, Executive Vice President of Bell’s, expressed pride in the brewery's regional ties and nearly four decades of brewing history, while looking forward to new opportunities the airport venue will bring, “Bell’s is proud of our Michigan-based roots and we’ve loved being able to bring exceptional craft beer to our communities for nearly four decades. Through this partnership, Michiganders on the west side of the state can now experience Bell’s at new occasions,” Yunker told WZZM 13.
