Bostonians can expect a continuation of clear skies and pleasant temperature. According to the National Weather Service, Sunday is forecast to be sunny, with a high near 72 degrees and light western breezes, maintaining the weekend's weather pattern.
Tonight's forecast includes clear conditions with a low around 53 degrees, leading into a warm Monday with temperatures expected to reach near 77 degrees. This sunny weather, which will impact outdoor events such as the Head of the Charles, is attributed to a high-pressure ridge over New England and the eastern seaboard. "Especially today into tomorrow, expecting temperatures in the 70s, lower 70s today across much of the area, with plenty of sunshine," NBC Boston reports.
As Boston transitions into Tuesday, slightly cooler weather is expected, with temperatures peaking around 70 degrees and a light eastward wind in the morning. By Wednesday, temperatures are anticipated to return to the comfortable mid-70s, aided by southerly winds. Nighttime conditions are forecasted to be mostly clear, with lows around the mid-50s, providing a slight drop from the day's warmth.
The uninterrupted stretch of sunshine will transition to seasonal changes midweek. A cold front is expected to move through on Wednesday into Thursday, bringing gusty winds and the possibility of light showers, which will lead to more seasonable temperatures by Friday. Thursday's high is forecasted to drop to around 64 degrees, with nighttime lows around 41 degrees, indicating a cooler end to the week. "Showers, return early Thursday, then back to reality on Friday," according to NBC Boston's predictions.
Despite the expected dip in temperatures, the week ahead in the city is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with a high near 56 degrees on Friday and a gentle westerly breeze. On Saturday, a mix of sun and clouds is expected, with highs in the upper 50s.
