Boulder County is set to mark Vote Early Day on October 29 by teaming up with local organizations and businesses, further bolstering the initiative to ensure voters have ample opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day. According to Boulder County, the county elections division is collaborating with Intercambio, Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA), Avery Brewing, and, for the first time, the Association for Community Living (ACL) in Longmont.

These partnerships are slated to provide venues where locals can receive and drop off mail ballots, acquire "I Voted Early" stickers, and enjoy various election-themed swag items. As an added community service, the events will accept nonperishable food donations for the EFAA. "Boulder County Elections is thrilled to expand Vote Early Day events again this year through our new partnership with ACL," Boulder County Clerk & Recorder Molly Fitzpatrick said, as obtained by Boulder County.

Vote Early Day, a nationwide initiative first observed in 2020, involves thousands of election administrators, nonprofits, and businesses, and is aimed at making Americans aware of their early voting options. This advocacy seeks to minimize any last-minute complications that could prevent voters from participating. The Regional Transportation District (RTD) has announced zero fares for Vote Early Day and Election Day to further reduce barriers for voters, ensuring cost does not deter citizens from reaching the polls.

Each event location will collect ballots, provide voter registration services, and offer access to election staff for process inquiries. Avery Brewing's founder, Adam Avery, expressed enthusiasm about supporting the community by making voting both convenient and enjoyable, inviting attendees to "join us on October 29, bring your ballot, and then sit back and enjoy a pint while watching the sun set over the Flatirons," as detailed by Boulder County . Simultaneously, bringing nonperishable food items with them will support the EFAA.
