The Brighton Police Department is actively seeking information to aid in their search for a driver responsible for a pedestrian hit-and-run incident. According to police, on Friday evening at around 7:15 p.m., they received reports of a pedestrian struck by two separate vehicles at the intersection of North Main Street (County Road 27) and County Road 2 1/2, as 9News reported.
The first vehicle, believed by investigators to be a 2000 Honda with likely damage to the front and the driver's side mirror, fled the scene after hitting the 22-year-old male pedestrian. The second vehicle, whose driver did not see the pedestrian and also hit him, remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. The Brighton Police Department has issued a call for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch, as per KDVR.
