
A motorcycle accident in Charlotte last Thursday evening claimed the life of 34-year-old Gregory Glisson. He was riding a 2024 Kawasaki ZR900F motorcycle at a high speed on Highland Creek Parkway when the crash occurred. Local authorities responded with a street racing unit, Medic, and a major crash unit. Emergency teams pronounced Glisson dead at the scene, as stated by Queen City News.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. near the 6300 block of Highland Creek Parkway. Riding at a dangerous speed, Glisson lost control of his motorcycle, ultimately leading to the fatal crash. WSOCTV reports that the southeast side of the parkway was shut down for investigation, causing delays and rerouting as investigators collected evidence and cleared the accident site.
Gregory Allen Glisson Jr. was found dead after losing control of his motorcycle and colliding with a pole on a stretch of road near Ridge Road in Charlotte. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the role of speed in the crash and has not yet determined if charges will be filed, as toxicology results are pending. The road was closed for hours during the investigation, as mentioned by WCNC.
