Macomb County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a homicide that occurred in Harrison Township, following the discovery of a 54-year-old man's body early Friday morning. The victim, identified as Roger Palmer of Detroit, was found at his place of work, Immanuel and Associates warehouse on Executive Drive. As reported by Audacy, Palmer was found dead inside the business at around 6:30 a.m., near the I-94 and North River Road.

A grey or silver SUV was seen leaving the scene shortly after the crime, as witnessed by surveillance cameras. The vehicle, associated with the suspect, was last observed heading south on Executive Drive, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office is working to identify the individual captured by this footage. According to a statement obtained by ClickOnDetroit, the man observed was fleeing from the scene shortly after the incident occurred.

Detectives have yet to determine the motive behind the murder, and details surrounding the circumstances leading up to the event have not been released.
