Dollywood has announced an offer for Sevier County residents and workers. From November 1 to November 10, individuals with proof of residency or employment can enter the theme park for $5. This discounted ticket will also support local nonprofits during the holiday season. "Our area non-profits take great care of our community each and every day, but as Christmas approaches, the demand for their services increases," Carol Agee, Dollywood Community Affairs and Philanthropy Manager, told WVLT.
The Sevier County Days initiative aims to support local organizations. Residents can participate by showing a state or federally issued photo ID with a Sevier County address at any Dollywood ticket booth. Employees in the county can provide a paycheck stub along with a photo ID, as detailed by WATE. The promotion coincides with Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas event, which includes new immersive attractions "Snow in the Gove" experience, and "Heidi Parton’s A Christmas To Remember" show, showcasing Dolly Parton's niece sharing festive family tales.
This initiative aims to support the community. Attendees can enjoy the holiday events while contributing to local causes. It emphasizes the collaboration between Dollywood and community organizations, especially during this critical time of year, as described by The Mountain Press.
As part of this initiative, the discounted tickets will also entitle Sevier County residents to season pass upgrades. A gesture that extends the enjoyment period and increases support for local nonprofits. "It is important for us and others in the community to provide support," Agee noted the significance of Sevier County Days, as reported by The Mountain Press. Donors will receive the full upgrade value toward a 2025 season pass, extending their support and enjoyment of the park into the next year.
