Harmond Ulmer, a 31-year-old factory worker, lost his life around 11:30 p.m. following an exchange of gunfire with a security guard on the premises. Detroit Free Press reports the victim's mother as saying that her son was merely hungry and had arranged for a friend to bring him some food, which the guard refused to allow through the gate, leading to the deadly skirmish.
