A tragic vehicular incident on I-75 in Arenac County has claimed the life of a 76-year-old Fenton man. According to ABC12, the man was driving northbound near Alger Road on Thursday when his vehicle disastrously lost control, veering off the road and overturning several times. The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m.
Michigan State Police reported that several witnesses did not hesitate to render first aid to the driver in the immediate aftermath of the crash. The efforts continued until emergency teams arrived. The man was critically injured and required to be airlifted by a FlightCare helicopter to a trauma center, where, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
