KVUE shared details from a social media post issued by the AFD, highlighting that the fire started shortly before 11 p.m. and was concentrated in the garage. A rapid response from firefighters ensured the fire was subdued shortly after their arrival.
The investigation by the AFD will seek to thoroughly uncover what set off the unfortunate event. The causes of such fires are often multiple and complex, stemming from anything like electrical issues to accidental neglect. It is imperative that determinations are made to not only understand this incident but to also prevent similar occurrences. Neither bystanders nor residents were harmed, and for this we are grateful. Updates will be provided as the AFD completes its investigation process.
