The Fort Worth Police Department recounted a series of successful interdictions against criminal activities within the city. Highlighted among these operations was a major weapons seizure in which officers confiscated 93 firearms and upwards of 5,000 rounds of ammunition. According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the arsenal was discovered in the possession of an individual flagged for dangerous stalking behaviors.
The same report by Fort Worth PD detailed a significant drug bust involving the interception of a mammoth 87 pounds of methamphetamines. The drugs were in transit with a delivery courier, who police believe was unknowingly serving as a mule for the illicit substance. The posting outlined that the operation to swiftly and safely secure the narcotics underscores a determined commitment to decidedly push back against the drug trade in the city.
The officers found marijuana, cocaine, and a cache of cash, all suggestive of narcotics trafficking. Each seizure represents a strand in the larger web of crime prevention strategies enforced by the department.
