Orange County law enforcement is on the hunt for potential victims following the arrest of Juan Ramirez-Bolanos, a 42-year-old Garden Grove man accused of indecent exposure and peeping through windows of homes with public visibility. KTLA reported that Ramirez-Bolanos would scout neighborhoods and target houses with easily viewable windows, typically under the guise of nightfall. He was arrested on September 19, and the Orange County District Attorney has charged him for multiple violations.
Authorities urge those who believe they might have fallen prey to such misconduct to report the incidents. In light of the charges, CBS Los Angeles shares that investigators feel there may be more victims that have yet to come forward. In order to assemble a more comprehensive case against Ramirez-Bolanos, detectives released his photo, engendering hopes that this will help other victims to recognize him and come forward.
According to a statement obtained by KTLA, "The suspect would then peep in the windows while exposing himself," detail which underscores the violation of privacy and decency experienced by the residents affected. These incidents are reported to have mostly occurred during evening hours which provided the perpetrator the cover of darkness to commit his alleged crimes.
