Residents in Gwinnett County have a chance to weigh in on the transit's future at an upcoming town hall hosted by District 1 Commissioner Kirkland Carden. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, offering community members a platform to learn and inquire about the forthcoming transit referendum.
The town hall, held at Suwanee City Hall from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., will focus particularly on the impacts the referendum could have on District 1 and, by extension, the broader regions. In the Suwanee City Hall Council Chambers, positioned at 330 Town Center Avenue, Commissioner Carden awaits the engagement with concerned residents, as reported by GwinnettCounty.com.
The commissioner and Gwinnett Transportation representatives will be there to answer community questions and discuss proposed changes to the transit system. The event aims to provide transparency and detail how these changes will improve services.
For those who can't attend in person, the event will be live-streamed on the County's Facebook page, @GwinnettGov. This allows everyone to join the discussion about the future of transit in Gwinnett County.
