A high-speed chase in Morrison County last night led to multiple charges against a Minnesota man, with local authorities providing details of the incident. According to officials, a Morrison County deputy attempted a routine traffic stop on Highway 115 but the situation quickly escalated when 32-year-old Jordan Warner of Hewitt, MN, decided to flee.

The pursuit began near Camp Ripley's main gate and continued through to Little Falls, MN, where Warner's vehicle crashed into a fence by the Little Falls Community High School football field. Despite the vehicle reaching speeds of up to 99 mph on Haven Road, and then heading south on Highway 371, the deputy cut off the chase due to safety concerns, for the public. It wasn't until Little Falls police officers located the vehicle that Warner was apprehended.

Warner now faces multiple charges including "Fleeing a Peace Office in a Motor Vehicle, Driving After Revocation, 1st Degree Damage to Property and 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance," as reported by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office. He is currently being held in the Morrison County Jail awaiting formal charges.

The pursuit, which thankfully did not result in any injuries, required the combined efforts of multiple agencies, including the Little Falls Police Department, MN State Patrol, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance who assisted the Morrison County Sheriff's Office. This incident serves as a reminder, of the dangers law enforcement encounters daily and the risks involved when individuals choose to evade police.
