According to a social media post from the Lodi Fire Department, the responding units arrived to find a well-involved fire already challenging their skills and resources. A call for reinforcements quickly followed, with the acknowledgement that against fire, we can never stand completely ready, but we can always respond united.
The blaze necessitated a second alarm, ushering in a communal effort as neighboring fire districts — including Woodbridge, Waterloo Morada, Stockton, Liberty, and Mokelumne — rushed to assist. The Lodi Fire Department tackled the flames, managing to quash them within an hour's struggle, yet not without demanding an "extensive overhaul" to ensure its defeat.
