A fatal shooting incident in Panorama City is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Bureau Homicide detectives, as reported by the LAPD. The events occurred on Thursday afternoon when patrol officers from the Mission area responded to a shooting on the 14000 block of Blythe Street.

Officers discovered a 50-year-old Hispanic male victim with gunshot wounds upon arrival. The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. As of now, the identity of the victim has not been released and no suspects have been identified in the case.
According to the LAPD News Release, detectives are actively seeking surveillance footage and witnesses in the neighborhood to aid the ongoing investigation into the shooting that took place around 5:55 p.m.
