
Los Angeles firefighters demonstrated swift action on Tuesday when they extinguished a blaze in a Pico-Union neighborhood building. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the incident started around 5:23 PM at 1325 W Venice Blvd. The fire was located in one unit of a three-story structure, with two floors of apartments sitting atop ground-floor commercial space.
An update from the LAFD indicated that the first arriving 40 firefighters successfully knocked down the fire in just 28 minutes. They managed to access, confine, and fully extinguish the third-floor apartment fire without any reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
