The incident, which unfolded on the night of September 28, around 10:58 p.m., left an adult female with injuries from gunfire that, while serious, were not believed to threaten her life; she was subsequently rushed to a local hospital where she received necessary medical attention, according to details provided by the police.
The shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Half Street, Southwest. Officers are canvassing for information that could aid in bringing those responsible to justice.
