The Metropolitan Police Department is on the lookout for individuals connected to a shooting incident in Southeast D.C. late last month. According to the MPD's official release, the event unfolded last saturday, where a woman suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Responding to reports at around 10:55 p.m., officers arrived on the scene at the Unit block of Potomac Avenue, Southeast, locating the injured adult female. After being dispatched to the location, the victim was promptly transported to a local hospital and is currently receiving treatment for wounds described as non-life-threatening.
The authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that might aid in the apprehension of the suspects. A financial incentive is also in place, with the MPD offering a sum of up to $10,000 for tips leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
