
The Metropolitan Police Department has issued a call for help to the public in identifying a suspect connected to a recent burglary in the district's Southeast area. According to official police reports, on the afternoon of October 8, a residential break-in occurred wherein a suspect was reported to have forced entry into a home on the 1900 block of Valley Terrace, Southeast.
The break-in, as detailed by authorities, was carried out at around 3:10 p.m., leading to an undisclosed amount of property being taken from the residence. The suspect was described having fled the premises following the robbery. Amidst ongoing investigations, the authorities have released video footage hoping to galvanize community support to bring the perpetrator to justice.
In their pursuit for leads, the Metropolitan Police Department has enhanced their appeal to the public by updating the original plea with video evidence. The police are asking anyone with any information on the incident in question to come forward.
