
Montgomery County detectives are appealing to the public for assistance in a recent homicide case involving the death of Antoine Lavale Parker, a 37-year-old man. The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division, is spearheading the inquiry into the incident that transpired on Boysenberry Drive.
According to the police department, events unfolded on Sunday, September 22, 2024, when at about 11:24 a.m., the local emergency services received a distress call regarding a shooting. Officers who arrived at the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive found Parker with gunshot wounds. While earlier that morning, around 5 a.m., officers had been dispatched to the same location following reports of gunfire, no evidence of a crime was initially discovered.
The victim was later pronounced dead, and the subsequent autopsy, which occurred Monday, September 23, 2024, confirmed the cause of death to be homicide. As detectives push forward with the investigation, they are hitting a roadblock without vital testimony from witnesses and are therefore reaching out for public cooperation.
