
Emergency crews responded to an incident at Donegal Springs Airpark yesterday when an aircraft skidded off the runway. According to WGAL, the situation unfolded just before 11 a.m. located on the 100 block of Donegal Springs Road in East Donegal Township, Lancaster County.
Though details were initially scarce, it was confirmed by Lancaster County Emergency Dispatch that the event did not result in any injuries. It appears after the aircraft went astray from its intended path. The kind of aircraft in question has not been disclosed as of yet.
The Susquehanna Regional Police Department was quick to take over the investigation into the causes of the crash. As reported by FOX43, the police were alerted of the crash at 10:42 a.m. Clearing the scene by noon.
