
A man, age 40, was shot and killed in an early morning incident in North Hollywood, as per information provided by the Los Angeles Police Department, with local law enforcement seeking assistance from the public. The fatal shooting occurred around 12:25 a.m. at the intersection of Hatteras Street and Tujunga Avenue, where LAPD officers discovered the victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to his chest, which was ultimately fatal despite being rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency care, according to Fox LA.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives, who are presently in charge of the investigation are still seeking to identify not only the victim but also the suspect, the victim was described as a 40-year-old male Hispanic, as per the LAPD.
The suspect drove off in what was described as a late-model gray Nissan four-door sedan there have been no arrests thus far. Detectives from the LAPD's Valley Bureau Homicide Division are overseeing the investigation, as noted by Fox LA.
