The van, last seen near Southwest 44th and County Line Road, was the subject of a theft, as reported by OKCFOX, which stated that surveillance captured footage of the suspect forcibly entering the van.
In a separate but related incident, an SUV was allegedly stolen from another driveway in the same vicinity; this was confirmed by surveillance video released by the police showing the suspect trying the door of a first vehicle before moving on to a 2016 Honda Pilot, which they successfully entered and started. The whole sequence was caught on camera, and although a suspect has yet to be apprehended, the Oklahoma City Police Department is diligently investigating the case, according to KFOR.
A public call has been issued for information regarding both thefts, encouraging anyone who might recognize the suspect or have any knowledge pertaining to these incidents to come forward.
