A Pennsylvania man wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Georgia was apprehended after a police chase on Interstate 77, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Patrick Terrell Brown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was detained following the pursuit that ended when his vehicle was forced to stop due to a deflated tire.
Law enforcement officers were tipped off about Brown's presence in the county when his vehicle was spotted entering Iredell County shortly after the alleged robbery in north Georgia. According to WCNC, officials attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but Brown did not comply, leading to a chase on I-77.
After the vehicle's tire went flat, Brown reportedly attempted to escape on foot but was swiftly captured by deputies.
