A disturbing case has surfaced in Peoria, where school administrator Christopher Williams, 44, is accused of several criminal acts against a minor. Williams, who served as assistant superintendent for student services at West-MEC, currently faces charges following allegations of sexual involvement with a 16-year-old student.

The assistant superintendent was taken into custody on multiple felony counts namely, three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, three counts of sexual abuse, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of assault, reported by 12 News. The police launched their investigation into the matter on September 25, prompted by a tip-off regarding an alleged sexual offense, tipping off the police about Williams' supposed "relationship" with the victim, which reportedly began as early as June 2024.

Public details outline that Williams engaged with the victim in public settings such as movie theaters and coffee shops, where they celebrated what they considered anniversaries, according to documents obtained by 12 News. Court documents also revealed that the accused provided the victim with alcohol and engaged in sexual activities with her, with the victim's phone uncovering messages and graphic content corroborating these claims.

Authorities further allege that Williams ensured privacy for their conversations by utilizing a privacy-oriented app, yet a search warrant for the teen's phone brought to light nude images shared between them. "These predators are trying to elicit response, responses from these juvenile females and these juvenile males, where they’re trying to groom these individuals and they’re trying to get certain things from them,” Peoria Police Officer Kristopher Babros described in a statement reported by AZ Family. During an interview post-arrest, Williams acknowledged the girl's age but dismissed the accusations as "false" and expressed an immediate need for legal representation.

As a result, the school administration has put Williams on administrative leave and is said to be "cooperating fully with law enforcement officials," as mentioned by AZ Family. He is being held at Maricopa County jail on a cash-only bond set at $250,000. With investigations ongoing, Peoria police encourage anyone with pertinent information to come forward and contact the department at 623-773-8383.
