
The Central Detective Division of Philadelphia is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a burglary suspect, who was captured on video during the incident. The footage, released by authorities, reveals an individual breaking into Moore’s Memorial Baptist Church and subsequently absconding with audio equipment.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department report, the burglary occurred in the early hours of October 10, around 12:09 am on the 2300 block of North 15th Street. The suspect reportedly forced the church's door open to gain entry. The crime's specifics, including a physical description of the suspect and details of the stolen audio equipment, were made available on the Philadelphia Police website.
The suspect is described as a black male, seen in the video wearing a “Knicks” hat, a black “Champion” sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and carrying a light-colored backpack. The Philadelphia Police Department has cautioned the public not to approach the suspect and to contact 911 immediately if he is sighted.
Detective Cifelli of the Central Detective Division is spearheading the investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contribute to the apprehension of the suspect.
