
Philadelphia Police are actively seeking two suspects connected to a shooting incident that transpired on the 3XX block of West Allegheny Avenue. In a statement obtained by the Philadelphia Police Department, the event occurred on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 6:17 p.m. in the 25th District. A 17-year-old male was critically wounded when gunshots were fired into a Septa bus he was aboard at Fairhill and Allegheny Avenue.
Investigators are now working diligently to fully investigate and follow leads and are urging the public to come forward with any information. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was quickly taken to Temple University Hospital and currently remains in critical but stable condition. In the midst of the chaos, a weapon was recovered, and four .40 caliber casings were found at the scene. The Philadephia Police Department have yet to make an arrest, as they continue to seek help in locating the individuals responsible.
Description of the suspects provided by the police characterizes Suspect #1 as a black male aged between 17 and 20, with Suspect #2 being a black male aged from 17 to 24 years old.
