Officer Caleb Paul, the appointed handler for the new canine, will be a familiar face in this initiative, having already paid visits to schools within the city to showcase the vital role the K9 will play in the community.

Officer Paul and the unnamed K9 will tour elementary and middle schools across Port Huron, providing forms for students keen to participate. The department plans to collect these forms by next week, with hopes to share the name by the end of next week.
