The Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported a homicide under investigation following an early morning assault in Jurupa Valley on October 10. Deputies responded to a call at 6:27 a.m. in the 6300 block of Baldwin Avenue where they found an adult male lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries. Despite the arrival of medical first responders and treatment attempts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Hoodline.
Subsequently identified as 46-year-old transient Joshua David Clark of Jurupa Valley, having taken over the case, the Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit is conducting further inquiries. No arrests have been made related to the incident thus far. Adult male suffering from significant injuries, the victim's identity was initially withheld until his next of kin were notified, as reported by the Riverside Sheriff's Office.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has issued a statement urging the public to come forward with any pertinent details about the crime. "This investigation is continuing and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Investigator D. Brown with the Central Homicide Unit at (951) 955-1777 or Investigator J. Cervantes with the Jurupa Valley Station at (951) 955-2600," the Sheriff's Department noted in their call to the public for help.
