Early Thursday morning, an assault turned deadly in Jurupa Valley, sparking an ongoing homicide investigation, authorities reported a victim discovered with significant injuries who ultimately died at the scene. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the incident occurred on the 6300 block of Baldwin Avenue, with deputies responding to the emergency call at approximately 6:27 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male lying on the ground. Despite efforts from first responders, the injuries proved fatal and no suspects have been apprehended in this case, thus far the victim's name has not been released, pending family notification. The Riverside Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit has taken charge of the investigation, indicating that their inquiry into the incident is far from over and they are actively seeking further evidence or testimony that may shed light on the circumstances leading to this tragic outcome.
