The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office quickly stepped in, detaining two individuals about the incident, while the precise type of projectile used in the shooting remains unidentified, officials are uncertain if the act was committed with a BB gun or a standard firearm, which informs the investigation and adds a layer of complexity to determining the exact charges, the suspects will face. In a statement obtained by ABC10, the sheriff's office disclosed that a vehicle, suspected to be involved in the incident was located soon after the shooting leading to the detentions.
