The search for 51-year-old Suzanne Clark Simpson, missing since yesterday night, has intensified with multiple agencies joining the efforts. Simpson was last seen around 11 p.m. in the 500 block of East Olmos Drive. In a statement obtained by KENS 5, DPS Sgt. Deon Cockrell said, "As long as she’s missing, we’ll continue to search for her in any possible area where she may be missing or possibly located."
Authorities started their search near Simpson’s home, and plans were in place to expand the search radius. Roads in the vicinity were closed off to aid the investigation efforts. Sgt. Cockrell confirmed to KENS 5 that the search was ongoing: "We want to cover ground as much and as fast as we can so nothing gets cold or if she is injured or something, that we can get to her before she’s incapacitated." Simpson, known as a real estate agent with Nix Realty, was last seen wearing a black dress and heels, details that have been widely circulated in an effort to aid the search. Simpson's husband, Brad Simpson, has been booked on unrelated charges, though police have not connected him to her disappearance.
The Olmos Park Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety are leading the investigation due to efforts from various agencies. Police also mentioned that Simpson was at The Argyle in Alamo Heights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the night of her disappearance, as per KSAT. It is still unclear whether Simpson was driving a vehicle before she went missing. Anyone with information regarding Simpson's whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Olmos Park Police Department through the provided contact numbers.
As the community anxiously waits for updates, the public is urged to come forward with any details that could assist in locating Simpson. Her online biography at Nix Realty describes her as a University of Texas graduate and a lifelong resident of San Antonio, who is married with three children.
