
A somber discovery was made in the Village of Climax yesterday, where a woman and her dog were found dead. According to FOX 17, deputies from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office were called to North Main Street, just north of Maple Street at approximately 10 p.m., where both the woman and the dog were found deceased. The case is currently being investigated as a homicide.
The authorities responded to the grisly scene and took a suspect into custody, offering a brief reassurance to the public; investigators have stated that there is no lingering threat. MLive reports that deputies dispatched around 10 p.m. to the 100 block of N Main St. found the bodies and arrested a suspect at the location. Pending criminal charges, the suspect is currently held at the county jail.
