A 15-year-old boy tragically lost his life to gun violence just before midnight yesterday in Oshtemo Township, near Kalamazoo. According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office, the young man was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds near where W KL Avenue passes under US-131 after they received calls about the shooting. Efforts were immediately made to save him, however, he was ultimately pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital, as per FOX 17.
Details surrounding the shooting remain scarce, and officials are yet to publicly identify the victim. As the investigation rapidly starts to piece together the circumstances of this distressing event, detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
