Designed for both desktop and mobile use, the website will offer resources such as video guides on water conservation, money-saving tips for household use, and troubleshooting advice for common plumbing issues, addressing the needs of Union County residents. According to the county's announcement, customers will be able to manage leak alerts and monitor their water usage more easily through the user-friendly interface.
The new interface is designed for bill payments and leak alerts, while also providing a connection for job seekers to explore career opportunities at Union County Water, which highlights its award-winning team. The platform aims to align its offerings with those of larger utilities, Amy McCaskill, Director of Business Operations for Union County Water, stated in the county's announcement, "Our goal is to provide our customers with the technology and tools they might find with larger water utilities throughout the country, while maintaining the personal customer service that we are proud to provide here in Union County." She confirmed that the transition to the new system will maintain the existing auto-pay arrangements, allowing scheduled payments to continue without changes.
