As the election momentum surges, Vice President Kamala Harris, galvanized supporters during her campaign trail in Arizona, headlining a packed rally in Chandler. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, where fervent discussions spanned from affordable housing to safeguarding reproductive rights. "It's time to turn the page and America is ready for a new way forward," declared Harris, marking her resolve to pivot the nation’s narrative amidst ongoing challenges.
Accompanying the rally was Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who joined forces with Arizona Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego and actor Jaime Camil in Phoenix, signaling an integrated Democratic push in a crucial battleground. Former President Donald Trump, Harris' opponent in the presidential race, is also targeting Arizona with an upcoming rally on Oct. 13, revealed a report by FOX 10 Phoenix.
In a bid to connect with the Hispanic community, a cornerstone of her voter base, Harris is doubling down on her outreach, initiating “Hombres con Harris”—Spanish for "Men for Harris". This initiative is poised to permeate through the fabric of community events and Latino-owned businesses, as chronicled in a report by AZ Family.
Harris, diverging from her usual rhetoric, congregated support for a state referendum to protect abortion rights, trenchantly criticizing the Supreme Court Justices nominated by Trump for overturning Roe v. Wade. "Many of these bans, like the one in this state, has (sic) no exceptions for rape and incest, and it is immoral. And we know, one doesn’t have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree the government should not be telling her what to do," Harris passionately stated, according to a AZ Family interview.
