An injury traffic collision shook the normally serene intersection of Las Posas Road and Temple Avenue in Camarillo on the evening of October 28, leaving a young cyclist hospitalized. According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, the incident unfolded at around 6:49 PM when a male juvenile bicyclist was hit by a turning vehicle while he navigated the crossroads.
The report detailed that, the cyclist, only described as a male juvenile from Camarillo, was journeying south on Temple Avenue when he proceeded into the intersection. There, he was struck by a 51-year-old male driver in a vehicle that was traveling north on the same road, turning left onto Las Posas Road. The victim was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital by emergency services arriving at the scene.
The Traffic Bureau of the Camarillo Police Department is actively conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
