
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is searching for 17-year-old Anniyah Burks, who was reported missing after being last seen last Saturday afternoon, in Northeast Bexar County. She was last spotted around 3:15 p.m. in the 7600 block of Kitty Hawk Road, according to KSAT.
Burks is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and has intellectual disabilities. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with writing and maroon shorts. Authorities are asking the public for help in locating her, as reported by the KSAT.
Additional details from KENS 5 indicate that Anniyah left home after ordering a ride-share service and was dropped off near Rivercenter Mall in downtown. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has reminded the public that harboring a runaway is a Class A misdemeanor, with potential penalties including up to one year in jail and a fine of up to $5,000. Anniyah's parents are deeply concerned for her safety due to her medical condition.
