A death investigation is underway in west Charlotte following the discovery of an unresponsive man on Thanksgiving evening during a welfare check. According to WBTV, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) arrived on scene near West Boulevard and Elmin Street at around 6:30 p.m. The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was pronounced dead after being taken to Atrium Main by MEDIC.
