Antoine Foster, a 31-year-old recently sentenced to life for attempted capital murder, briefly escaped from a transport vehicle outside the Bexar County courthouse after striking a sheriff's deputy. Law enforcement quickly responded to the situation, according to KSAT.
Deputies pursued Foster near the San Antonio River, and he was recaptured around 5:45 p.m. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office plans to add charges for escape, evading on foot, and assault on a public official due to his dash from the courthouse.
